Understanding and complying with Federal Records requirements is critical for all federal employees.  Compliance is particularly important for CTP because the environment lends itself to Freedom of Information Act inquiries and court ordered Electronic Discovery proceedings.  This training promotes a basic overview of records management to promote awareness of current practices and principles.  It is also intended to assist employees in performing their individual records management duties.  All training information is derived from federal statutes, departmental and agency policy and guidance, and is applicable to all CTP employees.
