This full-day course will provide participants with the basics of simplified acquisition planning and procedures. Successful completion of the class will result in seven Continuous Learning Points (CLPs).

 Training Objectives

·       Understand how to apply general policy relating to acquisition planning

·       Identify elements of a written acquisition plan, determine the government’s need, and      screen required sources

·       Conduct market research, understand the purpose of an Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), and apply the guidelines to generate the IGCE
