In FY17 OAGS implemented a new guide titled “Acquisition Ready Package Guide” (ARP Guide) as part of its effort to
support long term acquisition strategy initiatives within HHS. The purpose of the guide is to assist personnel through job
aids and tools to improve the consistency of acquisition packages and reduce the overall timeline from creation of a package to award. Prior to the issuance of the guide, AAT strived to improve support to program offices by providing trainings, guides, templates, and technical assistance.
