This one day course helps identify and build sources of power and influence to be able to deliver results.  Various techniques are shared with exercises to practice so participants leave with methods to apply to call people to action and get things done. 

  • Understand the difference between power and influence and how both can be effectively used to achieve results
  • Realize the effects of image, body language, and tone on one’s ability to influence others
  • Identify ways to establish credibility and trust
  • Discover one’s sources of power and take away action steps to improve necessary areas of concerns
  • Learn different influence strategies to use to gain buy-in and responsiveness from others
  • Examine one’s current network strength and create a strategy to build helpful alliances, rapport, and relationships
